Io: «Qui a Roma è primavera!»
Lui: «In tutto il mondo oggi è primavera»
Io: «Veramente stamattina alle otto, a Milano diluviava»
Lui: «Ma no! Brillava il sole di un futuro radioso e democratico»

Conversazione con amico # 2, maschio, bianco, residente a NYC:
Io: «So Obama president. You happy? I am»
Lui: «It's good thing. I liked Mc Cain too. My taxes will go up but that's ok»
Io: «It's good for everybody. It's symbolic. Sorry for your taxes»
Lui: «He's charismatic and inspirational which is good. Let's see his actions now»
Io: «If he doesn't do any good, you guys can kick him out in four years. I'm sure you will»
Lui: «Oh yes. Here's not Italy. Sorry about that»

Conversazione colta al volo tra passante romano, maschio, bianco, e ambulante maschio, nero:
Passante bianco: «Eh hai visto, Obama, tuo fratello»
Ambulante nero: «...»
Passante bianco: «Al prossimo giro, un papa nero!»
